Established in 2007, Studying Online offer professional English Language courses to speakers of other languages. An introduction by Angela Boothroyd

I am a fully qualified ESOL teacher and I have been teaching English to speakers of other languages for many years. As well as teaching English face-to-face I run the Studying Online English language school; and I design and write all our online English language courses.

I have always enjoyed travelling, experiencing different cultures and meeting people from all over the world; and this, and my love of language, was my inspiration to become an English language teacher.

I knew I wanted the Studying Online language school to offer the best online English courses so I studied for a Masters degree in Online Education. On this and other courses I learned how to use many different technologies to create online courses, how to teach well online and, most importantly, because the courses were all online I learned what it's like to be an online learner.

I am a qualified Net-Trainer (an online teaching qualification recognised in nine European countries) and I have a Master of Education in Applied Linguistics. I use my experience and expertise to create courses that will improve your English skills: courses that you can study in your time, at your own pace, and at a place to suit you; with support from a tutor when you need it.
